A December Day in Greenville (In Photos)

Greenville came on my radar when my sister took my daughter camping and said she didn’t stop there on the way. She told my daughter it was a place she wanted the two of us to experience together for the first time. That’s when I knew that this town must be special! We decided to make the drive during winter break as a family since my mom was in town and by some miracle we were all free at the same time. Let me tell you, my sister’s hype did not disappoint. Greenville is magical! I very much enjoyed walking around downtown and the parks, even in 20-degree weather (and I’m not a fan of cold so that’s saying something). It was breathtakingly beautiful, I felt like I’d stepped into a postcard!

If you are anything like me, you LOVE being by the water. If I can’t be at the beach, give me a lake or river view please! Well, Greenville steps it up a notch with gorgeous waterfalls flowing through the downtown area. If you aren’t too afraid of heights, you should definitely take a walk over the suspension bridge to get the best view.

There are also a ton of great shops in Greenville and you can easily find something for everyone in your group. My personal favorites were M. Judson Booksellers and Cornerstone Minerals (not pictured but lots of awesome fossils and crystals).

Whatever you decided to do in Greenville, just be sure to bring your walking shoes since there’s so much to explore!
